Get to know us

I'm Mumma, to our humble little family of three. Our three-nager rules the roost and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have a burning desire to live sustainably, however, there are days were I throw my hands in the air and turn a blind eye to the mold infested jar of jam hiding in the back of my cupboard that I can't bring myself to clean out in order to recycle and instead (with deep regret) end up throwing to landfill. I am my own worst enemy and for the most part try my very best to carefully consider my every action and how that impacts the plant. I am an imperfect sustainabilitist, doing my bit when I can and through the careful XX of habits.

I'm in my mid-late 30s and I'm excited to be entering my apron era. My Nana was a nana in the truest sense, she was a homemaker who could whip up the most delicious baked goods and soups to soothe your soul. She could craft like nothing I've ever seen, meticulous detail in her knitting which came with so much ease. She tended to her garden and veggie patch and would sit and chat to her beloved birds. All while wearing her 'uniform', the humble apron. During my backpacking years I would hunt down an apron to bring home to add to her collection. It brought me so much joy to hunt one down but to also see her wearing it on a random visit.
